Agency services: Albion in a 32€ million project financing in the solar power plants sector

On 5 August 2022, Sistema Rinnovabili, through AGRO SOLAR I S.r.l., and ING Bank N.V., assisted by their advisers, finalised a project finance transaction (approximately €32 million) to finance the construction and operation of a photovoltaic plant with a capacity of approximately 30 MW. Albion has been appointed as Documentary Agent to assist the Lender.

The plant, built in the province of Viterbo, will supply renewable energy (for a period of 10 years) to a major Italian industrial client in the chemical sector under a long-term power purchase agreement (long-term PPA).
