We are pleased to announce that Albion has taken on the role of Facility Agent, mandated by BBVA Corporate & Investment Banking, in a €100 million financing transaction to convert 7 biogas plants bought in 2024 by CH4T (the hashtag#biomethane platform CH4T, backed by Suma Capital through its SC Infra strategy), located in Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna, and Friuli Venezia Giulia, into 100% renewable biomethane production facilities. Once the modernization process is completed, the plants will reach an annual production capacity of over 295 GWh of biomethane, avoiding the emission of more than 85,400 tons of CO₂ per year and enabling the valorization of 401,865 tons of agricultural and livestock by-products. We are proud to collaborate, facilitating the management of the financing contract, with investors who have the goal of accelerating the development of sustainable energy solutions.
